Between the palm trees, lushy greenery and vibrant colours of a rustic antique hacienda and museum, Mariana and Juan Carlos chose to have a destination wedding in the heart of the Mexican state of Guanajuato.

Any & Orestes are two of the most charming people we will ever meet. Any wears her emotions on her shoulder, she’s extremely family oriented and can light up a room with her smile. Orestes is laid back, yet ever so witty with his words that he can bring laughter and giggles to Any at an instant.

ALE & JOSECARLOS // Ex-Hacienda Ibarrilla León, Gto.

We are so excited to be able to show Ale & José Carlos’ short wedding film. Their spirited story is something we found both compelling and motivating. They met in the gardens of Ex Hacienda Ibarrilla, and with their dog by their side their gleefulness couldn’t be held back. Their friends gathered outside the church to greet them with sparklers being waved in hand, which made for an epic church exit they soon won’t forget.

Ileana & David – Back to their roots!

Ileana and David are from Mexico, but have been living outside the country for quite some time. When their wedding plans began, there was no doubt that they wanted to come back to their roots to celebrate with family and friends and feel once more like being home.

The emotion of the day started for Omar with a gift from Moni, a lovely written letter and a few last bro moments with his two brothers and his father. Meanwhile Moni was trying to relax her anxiousness, and having her mom, sisters and closest friends by her side provided a soothing calm during those once in a lifetime moments of getting laced up in her wedding dress.

What an enjoyable wedding with Astrid & Armando, their lively spirited personalities and love is something we greatly admire.  That along with the warmth from both of their families, some of whom made it all the way from Germany, was what made for the jovial atmosphere. 

MONI & VICO // Enthralling Villa Maria Cristina Wedding. Guanajuato, Mex.

What was your most memorable gift? When did you get it? Who gave it to you?

For Moni & Vico that answer would probably be, on their wedding day, from each other, and a book. The first one, titled “What I Love About Us?” was a book which Moni had got to surprise Vico with. In it, she wrote phrases and inspirational quotes recollecting on the time they spent dating. Two minds often think alike, and Vico not to be outdone already had a book of his own to surprise Moni with.

We had so much fun exploring around alleyways with Mariana and Juan! If you’ve ever been to Guanajuato, México you know what we are talking about. That feeling of getting lost between narrow streets and yet not being worried but otherwise happy by discovering textured, colorful corners in the middle of nowhere.
